This paper seeks to survey and systematise the results of a research conducted in Great Britain on studentification. Studentification is usually treated as a process of multi-aspect changes of academic towns that occur under the influence of the ever growing and high number of students. Since it was British scholars who were the first to identify and conceptualise this process at the close of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st centuries, its pattern and forms have best been recognised in the academic towns of Great Britain.
