Sexual offending is a widespread international problem. Deviant sexual interests and antisocial orientation/lifestyle instability are identified as the primary criminogenic needs of sexual offenders. As a consequence, a proper understanding of these constructs is required for the supervision, (risk) assessment, and treatment of sexual offenders.
