Organic photovoltaics is a promising technology with many advantages: flexibility, lightness, conformability, and low manufacturing costs. The only limiting factors to its commercialization are the moderate efficiency and the limited lifetime of the devices. One strategy that can increase its efficiency is the use of a tandem architecture which consists of a stack of two subcells with complementary absorption spectra. However, no study has been done on the stability of these devices. The objective of this thesis is to design high-performance tandem cells and study their stability under illumination AM1.5 1000 W/m².
