A paleoecological and paleoenvironmental study was conducted on the 2.7 Ga Meentheena Member of the Tumbiana Formation, Fortescue Basin, Western Australia. It involved the integrated application of stratigraphic logging and trace element, stable isotope and organic geochemical analyses.
