«Materialismo Storico»: per una rinascita del marxismo italiano

The historical materialism is the specific form assumed by Marxism in Italy. This orientation of thought has been able in the past to dialogue with the national cultural and philosophical traditions of greater depth and has contributed for a long time in modernizing the Italian cultural and academic scene. For some time, however, its critical and propulsive role has failed and especially in the universities - and contrary to what happened abroad - the reference to materialistic studies has become, after the end of the Cold War, practically non-existent. "Historical Materialism: Journal of Philosophy, History and Human Sciences", aims to fill this gap and to contribute to the revival of the Marxist presence in the national cultural debate
