This report assesses the advantages and disadvantages of collaboration or teamwork as it relates to both business and academic environments. The author explores teamwork as an instructional approach for cooperative or collaborative learning in academic settings and reflects on articles including Effective top teams : Five strategies for success (2002) by C. Mulrooney & J. Snow as it describes and evaluates the components and benefits of teamwork.
