Research works exposed in this thesis are devoted to 3D digitalization of unknown objects by using a laser plane sensor. In particular, the work deals with a new approach of intelligent automated scanning trajectory based on a quality criterion. In this direction, all the parameters allowing the relative positioning sensor/part as well as the consequence of their variation on the data point quality are studied. A main part of the work is dedicated to performance assessment of the digitizing system used. Therefore an experimental protocol is proposed, in order to evaluate system capacities regarding to digitizing noise in function of the digitizing angle and the digitizing distance.
