THE CAPACITY OF EXTENSION AGENT THL IN INCREASING ADOPTION INNOVATION OF FARMERS ON BEEF CATTLE FEED TECHNOLOGY

ABSTRAC\ud Research aims to analyze the capacity extension agent THL increasing adoption innovation of farmers on beef cattle feed technology. The research was in Bulukumba Regency the Province of South Sulawesi. Data collected by do survey collection with using a technique that is interview uses a questionnaire, focus group discussion, and interview in depth ( indepth study to key informant. The research results show that performance extension agent THL in improving adoption innovation farmers on the application of knowledge and skill in desimination matter technology feed is at medium category , while performance extension agent on a visit / face-to-face and application of a demonstration technology feed on farmers are in the low . The implementation of extension agent THL the low capacity the demonstration of feed technology and meet the needs of farmers , because lack of infrastructure of extension agent and poor a source of information counselors of feed technology . To improve their performance extension agent THL adoption technology to feed , we need to attempts to through the increased intensity of and quality of counseling through the training of extension agents THL in increasing adoption feed technology beef cattl
