The history of the refusal by the class-based labor movement in France to participate in management is outlined. Under pressure from the recession however, unionists are abandoning this rigid position and are formulating economic counterplans (several of which are discussed) to save threatened firms. Paradoxically, in spite of the openness of the Socialist government toward greater institutional participation by the unions and in spite of the openness of employers toward new forms of rank-and-file participation, union attempts to intervene in industrial policy have not had much effect.Les nouvelles formes de management participatif portent atteinte aux prérogatives syndicales. L'article retrace quelle a été historiquement, avec le syndicalisme de classe, la tradition de refus de la participation de la part des syndicats en France. Cependant, contraints par la crise, les syndicalistes abandonnent cette rigidité et formulent des contre-plans économiques, pour sauver les entreprises en péril : plusieurs de ces contre-plans sont évoqués. Mais, paradoxalement, malgré l'ouverture du gouvernement socialiste à une plus grande participation institutionnelle des syndicats et l'ouverture du patronat à de nouvelles formes de coopération à la base, ces tentatives d'intervention syndicale dans la politique industrielle n'ont pas reçu grand écho.Durand Claude.
