Here are the funerary inscriptions of the cemetery of Kuta Alam (Makuta Alam according to Teuku Iskandar), forming an addition to the series of articles on the Muslim epigraphy in Aceh. A quarter of them date from the early 16th century. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to make the information they contain agree with the historical data.
