The transport infrastructures built in the Nord -Pas-de-Calais Region during the last 25 years The purpose of this article is to present the main infrastructures which were built in the Nord -Pas-de-Calais Region during the last 25 years. Step by step, the regional motorway network was developed and connected to the Belgian network. The new metro of Lille -the VAL -is a great technological success, because it is the first European fully automatic, driverless system. The cross-Channel fixed link has become a reality, thanks to the Eurotunnel project. Its existence now opens up new opportunities for passenger and freight traffic between England and continental Europe. In service in France since 1993, the north-European TGV constitutes the first link of the future European high-speed rail network.Cet article se propose de présenter les principales infrastructures de transport réalisées dans la Région Nord -Pas-de-Calais, au cours des 25 dernières années. Petit à petit, le réseau autoroutier régional s'est étoffé et a été relié au réseau belge. Le nouveau métro de Lille, le VAL, constitue un remarquable succès technologique, puisqu'il est le premier métro européen totalement automatique, sans personnel de conduite. Le lien fixe transmanche est devenu une réalité, grâce au projet d'Eurotunnel ; son existence offre de nouvelles opportunités pour le trafic de passagers et de fret. En service en France depuis 1993, le TGV Nord constitue le premier maillon d'un réseau européen de chemins de fer à grande vitesse.Barré Alain.
