L'aménagement rural dans la région Nord d'Utrecht : le cas du Noorderpark

This peri-urban region is being heavily influenced by transformation processes. The area is characterized by very important natural and historical values. Its agricultural structure is not adapted to the present situation and, accordingly is being partly converted. Additionally the region is being influenced by strong urban pressures. National Planning designated this region as part of the buffer-zone between Utrecht and Hilversum. Altogether these developments offer a complex research area for the geographer trying to understand the working principles of spatial conflicts in rural areas.Cette région péri-urbaine en transformation se caractérise par des valeurs naturelles et historiques très importantes, une agriculture en difficulté et en conversion et une forte pression urbaine. En plus, l'Aménagement du Territoire a appliqué à cette région la fonction de «Zone-Tampon».
