Maps on the municipality level were made with the density of general practitioners, specialists, dentists and pharmacies in Belgium. Significant spatial inequalities were observed. Multiple regression allowed to verify the classical location hypotheses. Relevant explaining variables seem to be population density, age structure and the presence of medical facilities.
