The research that we present has been achieved in the setting of a research about argumentation in sciences teaching at primary school. It is supported by oral analysis of dialogue recorded during the class activities dedicated to the study of the working of an usual technical object : the vacuum cleaner. These activities have been carried out in two classes of nursery school (small section and medium section).
