In this article we examine two sets of essays written by Magistère de gestion students at the University of Paris-Dauphine. For each group, the five best, as well as five merely average papers, were selected on the basis of marks received. These compositions were then analysed in terms of their type/token ratios (TTR) in order to determine whether or not high marks, and their implication of higher overall quality, would correspond to higher TTRs. Analysis of the data does not allow us to posit a correlation between the lexical diversity ratio and high quality performance in L2 written production.Dans cet article nous étudions deux séries de productions écrites fournies par des étudiants en Magistère de gestion à l'Université de Paris-Dauphi...
