Space and training to planning.- Spatial analysis is one of the soft spots of planning. A criticism of planning' s pedagogy allows a better comprehension of the reasons of this situation. Indeed, planning must reject the old determinism (natural environment) and the new one (mathematical model) . But we need to specify the degree of control of the real space upon which we want to act. This degree of control fades from theory to practice, i.e. from the stage of planning-conception to the stage of planning-operation.L'analyse spatiale est un des points faibles de la planification et de l'aménagement. Une critique portant sur la pédagogie de l'aménagement permet de mieux en comprendre les raisons. En effet, l'aménagement ne doit se rattacher ni aux vieux déterminisme du milieu physique, ni au nouveau déterminisme du modèle mathématique. Mais il faut préciser le degré de contrôle-maîtrise de l'espace sur lequel on veut intervenir, en sachant qu'il s'atténue de la théorie à la pratique, c'est-à-dire du stade de la conception des projets d'aménagement au stade de leur réalisation.Fischer André.
