Les relations touristiques du littoral avec l'arrière-pays : l'espace côtier d'Antibes à Théoule

The touristic relations of the Littoral with the Back-Land -the coastal space from Antihes to Theoule. The extraordinary increase of the human mobility having lend to a supersaturation of the eastern part of the Mediterranean littoral, it was important to analyse the recess effect of the touristic demand swinging round to the back-land at the moment as the inhabitants of this last are massively getting at their turn into the general movement. The space in question, greatly urbanized, with complementary landscapes marked, on the one hand, by a fairly developed, middle-land with hills and "plans", on the other hand, by a mountain where the traditionnal touristic spots lie by new recreative areas, makes the observation of the transformations in progress easier. The definition of a method allowing approximations of the process contributes to make appear the said spontaneous tendencies, the conflicts of interest, the districts innovations, the punctual operations on which the requisite endeavours of general planning clash. The study ends in a reflection about the geographical imperatives of today.L'extraordinaire intensification de la mobilité humaine ayant suscité une sursaturation de la partie orientale du littoral méditerranéen français, il importait d'analyser le phénomène de reflux de la demande touristique vers l'arrière-pays, au moment où les habitants de ce dernier s'insèrent à leur tour, de façon massive, dans le mouvement général. L'espace choisi, fortement urbanisé, aux paysages complémentaires, marqué d'une part par un moyen-pays assez développé de collines et de "plans", d'autre part par une montagne dans laquelle des sites touristiques traditionnels voisinent avec des aires récréatives nouvelles, favorise l'observation des profondes transformations en cours. La mise au point d'une méthode d'approche du processus contribue à faire ressortir les tendances dites spontanées, les conflits d ! intérêt, les innovations sectorielles, les opérations ponctuelles, auxquels se heurtent les nécessaires efforts d'aménagement global. L'étude débouche ainsi sur une réflexion relative aux impératifs géographiques contemporains.Wackermann Gabriel.
