The bats of Lavours marsh. - Since 1984, year of creation of the Réserve naturelle nationale du Marais de Lavours, bats survey was initiated in 2000. A summary of the works on these Mammals until 2012 reported 19 known species, all of which are identified in the process of nocturnal flight activity (acoustic detection, capture with nets). Of these, six are of European interest. The group of species with strong affinities for forest habitats is present (Bechstein's bat, Alcathoe whiskered bat, Natterer's bat, Western Barbastelle, Lesser horseshoe bat...).
