The general morphological features of the genus Epipactis as well as its ecology, reproduction and distribution are recalled. The 35 taxons (16 species, 3 subspecies, 2 varieties and 14 hybrids), including the last discovered, belonging to this genus in France are briefly described whereas more information is given about the morphology of their column. A simplified key is proposed in a synoptic form. The distribution of this genus in the area of Lyon is illustrated on 20 maps. It is based on recent studies aiming at establishing a cartography of French Orchids. Finally the authors deplore the fact that they are so few protective measures in operation for species, which populations appears to be as good as extinct.Résumé. -Les caractères mor...
