The Construction of an Anti-Athenian Alliance in the Mediterranean Fifth Century BC: Hermocrates, Lysander and Darius II This paper proposes to emphasize that the political project of a mere Spartan party was what actually triggered the crisis of the international relations within the Greek World at the very end of the fifth century BC.
