Les activités commerciales du sud Kivu au XIXe siècle à travers l'exemple de Kinyaga (Rwanda)

Commercial Activities in Southern Kivu during the XIXth century, with Kinyaga, Rwanda, taken as an example. During the pre-Colonial period, Kinyaga was the center of a commercial network that linked northern Tanganyika, western Kivu and Rwanda. Business exchanges were based on the complementarity of goods and produce, and were conducted for the most part in the market places. This economic center underwent significant changes towards the end of the XIXth century following the increase of Moslem influence in the region.Le Kinyaga était, à l'époque précoloniale, au centre d'un réseau commercial qui reliait le nord du Tanganyika, l'ouest Kivu et le Rwanda. Les échanges étaient basés sur la complémentarité des productions et se faisaient essentiellement sur des marchés.
