This paper review the opportunity of a new natural fibres, sugar palm, as the reinforced the polymer composites. Some characteristics of the sugar palm fibre were discussed based on the work reported some researcher elsewhere. Sugar palm fibre was the new natural fibre in literature on natural composites. Still a little work of researcher has been done that explores the possibilities of this natural fibre to get the benefit for the composites applications. But, up the date some result of the preliminary work have been report about the characteristics and performance of the sugar palm reinforced epoxy composites.
