Hybrid composites of kenaf/pineapple leaf fiber (PALF) reinforced highdensity polyethylene (HDPE) matrix were produced by compression molding operation. Tensile, impact and flexural tests as well as dynamic mechanical and thermogravimetric analyses (DMA and TGA) were performed to characterize the composites in variation to fiber loading, fiber length and kenaf/PALF fiber proportions. This is in addition to employing electron beam irradiation (EBI), use of compatibilizers/modifiers and crosslinkers in improving the composites mechanical properties.
