The Discovery of the East and Its Mysteries

I would like to, in my bachelor thesis preoccupied journeys of Czech travellers eastwards, during which they discovered Asia. I will focus mainly on Southeast Asia and if there is enough material on my homeland Vietnam. I would like to approach to the feeling of former travelers and the perception of newly discovered Asian world. I'm interested in conflict and the spread of Christianity that brings travelers with Buddhism and its habits. I would like to devote one chapter also to compared two religions and their popularity at that time among the inhabitants of Asia. I'm also interested in which acceptance did travelers get from residents of Asia. I will also focused on the international trade between continents, because Asia was for Europe oriental kingdom for business. Maybe in one chapter I would like to compare the mentality of European man and an Asian man. The aim of this thesis will bet he rediscovery of the East using the surviving sources. And understanding the idea for travelers to expense on this journey
