Upregulation of adhesion molecules by CD34⁺/CD133⁺-stem cells.

<p>(<b>A</b>) FACS analysis of the expression of VCAM-1, ICAM-1, E-selectin and L-selectin by CD34/CD133—positive cells in the peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) fraction of healthy volunteers (n = 15), non-septic intensive care unit (ICU) patients (n = 10) and septic patients (n = 30).
