BACKGROUND Before onset of labour, rupture of membrane is known as Premature rupture of membrane (PROM). PROM is one of the most common complications of pregnancy that has major impact on foetal and maternal outcomes. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the foetomaternal outcome of the patient with premature rupture of membranes, in Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Umaid Hospital, Dr. Sampuranand Medical College, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.
