The technologies of finishing of parts with coatings with turning, equipped with polycrystalline super hard materials and polishing diamond-abrasive elastic tools are considered. A design of a collector through cutter with a replaceable block is proposed, which has an adjusting grooved surface for reliable attachment to the holder when processing high hardness coatings. The results of experimental studies of the formation of the surface layer of parts with coatings are presented when using elastic tools for finishing operations. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of finishing the details of the petal circles
