For several decades there has been the necessity to give a possible explanation about the difficulties in the academic performance and discipline of students in basic education. In response we have a series of causes such as: lack of concentration, lack of discipline, lack of attention, undernourishment, inadequate family atmosphere and others, but unfortunately none importance has been giving to the ma-nagement of emotional control in teachers of basic education and its influence in the performance and discipline of students.
