The paper considers current problems of integration of Information Systems (IS), limitations of current methods of IS Reengineering and limitations of existing approaches for Data Integration in Relational Databases. The performed analysis shows the drawbacks of existing integration approaches. To increase effectiveness of IS integration at the conceptual level, the paper proposes a new technique for the integration of relational databases on the base of the model of an IS Domain (ISD). The approach allows to automate the synthesis of conceptual schemas for the different layers of ISDs and results in the increasing effectiveness (saving labour and time efforts) of the problem solution. The technique is based on the mapping values of the p...
