Our patient with prolapsed intervertebral disc at L3–L4 was given lumbar epidural steroid injection using loss of resistance to air technique with 3 ml of air. After 5–6 h, she developed severe frontal and temporal headache with few episodes of nonprojectile vomiting, followed by disorientation and agitation.
