Is our school sexist? Its evaluation and social significance

The sexism is a social phenomenon based on the historical superiority of masculine sex, as the result of which women are socially less recognized than men. Although, the society has revolutionized together with the conceptions about women and everything they can do, sexism keeps been an unsolved problem. As a re sult, today it is necessary to change the static beliefs system of social consciousness not only of men but also of women who are used to reproduce stereotyped gender relations. The present article is aimed to evaluate social significance of sexist manifes tations of which we are not always conscious, limiting the possibility of generating a proactive behavior on gender issues within the academic community in order to transform and moderate the human relations in favor of an inclusive education
