Aim: To compare the feasibility and outcomes of Transverse Cervical incision and Modified Schobinger's incision for neck dissection. Materials and methods: Patients having oral cavity cancer with positive metastatic nodal disease in the neck requiring ablative surgery were included. Patients requiring a lip split incision for tumor ablation were excluded from the study. A total of forty patients were selected and were randomized in two groups. Transverse Cervical incision was placed in group A for neck dissection and a standard Modified Schobinger's incision in group B.
