ECONOMIC CONDITIONS OF ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES IN THE FAR EASTERN FEDERAL DISTRICT IN 2008-2009

An analysis is given of the economic situation in machine-building industries of the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) in 2003-2009 with a focus on the crisis period of 2008-2009. Characteristics is given of the detailed sectoral structure of the FEFD machine-building complex in dynamics for 2003-2009, the key factors of its dynamics are substantiated. A comparative analysis is given of the effectiveness of basic production and non-production financial activities of machine-building enterprises in the region.
