Bu çalışmada; Iğdır yöresinde yetiştirilen altı kayısı genotipine ait meyvelerin fizikokimyasal özellikleri (meyve ağırlığı, çekirdek ağırlığı, çekirdek iç ağırlığı, SÇKM, asitlik, pH) ile taze meyve ve iç çekirdeklerinin protein ve mineral madde (K, Mg, Ca, Cu, Zn, Fe ve Mn) içeriklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Beyaz kayısı çeşidi 52.91 g ile en iri meyvelere, Teberze çeşidi % 24.00 ile en yüksek SÇKM değerine sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Protein ve mineral madde içeriklerinin iç çekirdeklerde taze meyveden daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
