Most visual representations of architectural space are still done using drawings of ground plan, section and view. Yet, when experience is lacking - as with students or laypeople these two-dimensional representations hardly show their correspondence to a three-dimensional reality. This article examines the various visual techniques for spatial simulation available today and their implementation by students involved with architectural projects
