In this paper, first of all a short account on the peculiarity of knowledge in the domain of Architectural and Building Project, particularly in the Building Recovering Project is given. Thatmeans to focus the concept of “degree of authority” of different types of knowledge with regard to project: regulations, specialist literature having in practice the value of self-regulation, technical updating, exemplary design cases, warnings, analysis methods, heuristics, orientating references. Consequently, the different roles of two basic design & decision support systems, that is expert systems and hypertexts, are considered.
