This research shows the theoretical foundations in the use of digital architectural technology. In order to reach this goal, it is necessary to study three generations of designers involved with this technology. The first theoretical foundation studied is the one of Massad and Guerrero, which brings together two generations of designers. A third generation of designers is called “regeneration,” because of their development of a bio-anthropological-cultural context in a digital post-revolution. This third re-generation has its starting point in Morin’s definition of complex epistemology. Morin’s contribution allows the understanding of complex epistemology in architectural design with digital technology
