International audienceWith the second excavation campaign on the site of La Verrerie in Arles, we were able to carryon the exploration of a rich domus of 1st century BC. Located right to the east of the VIIIbroom explored in 2014, which had revealed a large set of paintings of the second style with aclosed inner wall, room VIIIa revealed most of its decor too. The first floor showed a surprising composition with a blue background, unfortunately in a bad state of preservation, while the groundfloor offered a very rich decor with remarkable gigantic figures standing up against avermilion background punctuated with columns.
