Synaesthetes have the peculiarity of associating a supplementary experience (e.g. the colour green) when certain stimuli are presented (e.g. the letter F). The aim of this thesis was to better understand the development of synaesthesia through three types: Grapheme–Colour, Grapheme–Personality and the representation of numbers in space.We collected the graphical representations of 797 children from Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade twice, at 2-3 weeks interval.
