The Clean Air Act Amendments of 1977 required each state to identify those areas with unacceptably high TSP concentrations and devise a control strategy to reduce these high concentrations. The purpose of this analysis is to explore the causes of these high TSP concentrations to aid in the future development of necessary control strategies which will lead to reducing TSP to an acceptable level
