What is RuSH?\u2022\u2022 Registry and Surveillance System for Hemoglobinopathies(RuSH) was a pilot project of the Centers for DiseaseControl and Prevention (CDC), with the National Institutesof Health\u2019s National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.\u2022\u2022 The overall purpose of RuSH was to collect state-specific,population-based data on people with sickle cell disease(SCD) and thalassemia in order to provide accurateupdated information to the public.\u2022\u2022 Seven states were funded to participate in data collection:California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New York, NorthCarolina, and Pennsylvania.CS238867_CPublication date retrieved from document propertie
