Facultad de Bioquímica y Ciencias Biológicas; Argentina.Los factores de transcripción (FT) de la familia homeodominio-cierre de leucinas (HD-Zip) son exclusivos de plantas y se clasifican en cuatro subfamilias. Los miembros de la subfamilia I participan principalmente de las respuestas al estrés abiótico. En este trabajo de Tesis se hizo una caracterización funcional de dos miembros de esta familia codificados por genes parálogos, AtHB13 y AtHB23. Estos genes se expresan en el meristema apical y flores de plantas adultas pero cumplen funciones diferentes.
