Literacy: speaking, reading and writing, through the construction of knowledge in formal education situations come into contact with the building of discipline-based knowledge (Wells, 1988) particularly in the University. An empirical study of the written production of the university students when faced with experiences in reading and writing shows the difficulty they have in understanding, communicating, and looking at a text with critical eye (Aragon and Ochoa, 2001).
