Worker-owned companies or self-managed firms discussed here from three case study companies in Popayan, Colombia, and Rosario, Argentina. The aim is to learn about organizational culture in this model, from the identification and analysis of common and divergent elements. Interviews were conducted in companies defined through a set of variables associated with the organizational culture as values , participation, and founding history. The main findings shows that cultural organization of these companies despite the differences in context, are quite similar. Values such as solidarity, responsibility, commitment and teamwork, are common in organizations, supported on an event to reformulate the expectations of individuals: the moment of crisi...
