Objective: To compare the degree of successes of the actual date of childbirth with forecasts due date by clinical and ultrasound methods. Methods: Cross-sectional study in 647 births in ASSBASALUD (Manizales-Colombia) 2012-2013. The most important variables were: Date of last menstrual period (LMP) reliable or not, school, ultrasound first quarter, Body Mass Index (BMI). Capurro test. Results: Validated 344 (53.2%). 56.4% of women had no reliable LMP. The initial BMI averaged 22.2. Weight gain was 11kg on average and the gestational at birth was 39 weeks 3 days.
