Jerarquía y divinización del hombre según Dionisio Aeropagita

The present communication investigates the dionisyan conception of the divinisation of man. For that it analyzes chapters 1.2 and 3 of the Ecclesiastical Hierarchy where the divinisation is defined as "that which consists of making our selves similar God and to unite our selves with Him as much as it is possible to us"(376 a). The concepts of hierarchy, mediation and sacrament that are linked to this notion must be clarified properly in order to understand the dionisyan conception of the divinisation. This explanation is guided by the following questions: how does man get to make himself divine? And, which is the anthropology underlying this conceptionof the divinisation? The paper concludes showing that the understanding of the rices, the sacraments and the sensible symbolsis necessary, since the divinisation of human intelligences cannot be fulfilled without the aid and the mediation of the sensible.La presente comunicación indaga la concepción dionisiana de la divinización del hombre. Para ello analiza los capítulos 1,2 y 3 de la Jerarquía Eclesiástica donde se define la divinización como aquello "que consiste en hacernos semejantes a Dios y unirnos con Él en cuanto nos es posible"(376 a). A esta noción se vinculan los conceptos de jeraquía, mediación y sacramento que deben ser aclarados debidamente para comprender la concepción dionisiana de la divinización. Esta aclaración está guiada por las preguntas: ¿cómo llega el hombre a divinizarse? y ¿cuál es la antropología subyacente en esta concepción de la divinización? Concluye mostrando que es necesario la inteligenica de los ritos, de los sacramentos y de los símbolos sensibles, puesto que la divinización de las inteligencias humanas no puede cumplirse sin la ayuda y sin la mediación de lo sensible
