Creencias sobre medio ambiente en estudiantes de grado décimo y undécimo de colegios distritales de la localidad de Kennedy de Bogotá.

This report shows the results that obtained from the macro-project of research “Creencias de los estudiantes del sector oficial de Bogotá” and the research line “Investigación de Educación, lenguaje y comunicación” taking into account the interactions of the different agents in the educative environment. Through a mixed-sequence design, we obtained the first data with the survey applied to 1528 students in 33 schools and the focus group interview with 30 students of 3 schools from Kennedy, this allows to contrast and to validate the quantitative results. For the data analysis, we carried out the statistical analysis, then the analysis of the content about the interviews, we mixed through the triangulation strategy. The environmental beliefs were characterized related to the actions, responsibilities and commitment to the environment, showing actions done to protect the surroundings, and students’ participation and motivations about the topic. Students’ beliefs related to the actions for the environment is done through the actions to protect the environment and the actions which are not in favor of it, also for the protection of biotics and abiotics and the problems which affect the same ones. Keywords: Beliefs, environment, interaction of the environmental factors, recycle, actions and motivations.Este informe presenta los resultados que se han obtenido desde el macroproyecto de investigación “Creencias de los estudiantes del sector oficial de Bogotá” y la Línea de “Investigación de Educación, lenguaje y comunicación” teniendo en cuenta las interacciones de los distintos agentes en los espacios educativos. Mediante un diseño mixto secuencial, se obtuvo los datos primero con la encuesta a 1528 estudiantes de 33 colegios y la entrevista a grupo focal con 30 estudiantes de 3 colegios de la Localidad de Kennedy, para contrastar y validar los resultados cuantitativos. Para el análisis de datos se efectuó primero el análisis estadístico de la encuesta y luego, el análisis de contenido de las entrevistas, para combinarlos en la triangulación metodológica. Se caracterizaron las creencias ambientales en relación con las acciones, las responsabilidades y compromisos frente al medio ambiente, destacando las acciones realizadas para proteger el ambiente, la participación y motivaciones de los estudiantes frente al tema. La creencia de los estudiantes en relación con las acciones por el medio ambiente se da a partir de las acciones para proteger el medio ambiente y de las acciones que no favorecen el medio ambiente, también desde la protección de los factores bióticos y abióticos y de las problemáticas que afectan los mismos factores.
