"Los profesores universitarios EFL ubicadas en contextos rurales no tienen las mismas oportunidades de desarrollo profesional que sus pares en los entornos urbanos. Sus características particulares requieren estrategias de desarrollo profesional adaptados a sus condiciones específicas. Este estudio de caso explora los efectos de una comunidad de prácticas implementadas a través de un sitio de redes sociales en un grupo de veinticinco profesores universitarios de inglés como lengua extranjera en un contexto regional en Colombia.
