They are synthetic pollutants in waste water and can be removed by the use of FeCl3 and TiO2, plus an oxidation agent, like H2O2. This system allows the use of artificial light for, with no intermediate stages, provoke chemical reactions that bring the mineralization or the degradation of the pollutants dissolved in the water studied.
