International audienceA frequency domain method for transient dynamics which enables one to cover both the low- and medium-frequency ranges has revealed efficient on homogeneous structures. In this approach, the low-frequency part is obtained through a classical technique while the mediumfrequency part is handled through the Variational Theory of Complex Ray initially introduced for vibrations.
